Presque Isle Fire Department is submitting an application to the Maine Board of Emergency Medical Services to license as a 9-1-1 Transporting Emergency Medical Service provider with a primary service area of Presque Isle, ME, Fort Fairfield, ME, Easton, ME, Mars Hill, ME, Blaine, ME, Bridgewater, ME, Westfield, ME Mapleton, ME, Castle Hill, ME, Chapman, ME, Crouseville, ME, Washburn, ME, Wade, ME. The service will be licensed at the Advance EMT level. Presque Isle Fire Department will respond to any and all types of medical emergencies when requested by calling 9-1-1.
The public is invited to make comment regarding the proposed application and the comments must be received by the Board of Emergency Medical Services within 30 calendar days of the publication of this notice.
