The Town of Westport Island is conducting a competitive bid process for the Sand/Salt Storage Facility project in Westport Island, Maine. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Town Office, 6 Fowles Point Road, Westport Island, Maine 04578, at 4:00 p.m. on October 20, 2016.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Town Office on October 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
The project involves the construction of a 3,000 cubic yard (50' x 102') sand/salt storage building. The laminated arch building shall have a metal roof and will be supported by a concrete foundation. Excavation, backfill, site work, and paving shall be part of this contract.
