The University of Maine is seeking sealed bids for the following project: [font=font36821]TOW CARRIAGE MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL DRIVE SYSTEM[/font]
Bids will be received until [font=font36821][u]2:00pm[/u][/font] on [font=font36821][u]Wednesday, August 17, 2016[/u][/font], at which time the Bids will be opened and read aloud.
Bidders may attend a [u]non-mandatory[/u] pre-bid meeting in the Harold Alfond Ocean Engineering Laboratory of the Advanced Structures & Composites Center, University of Maine, in Orono, Maine on [u]Monday, August 8, 2016[/u], at [u]10:00am[/u].
The Project consists of furnishing three drive systems for a tow carriage to be operated in the Wind-Wave (W2) basin located in the Harold Alfond Ocean Engineering Laboratory at the University of Maine in Orono. The drive systems shall be synchronized, automated and programmable, and are identified as primary, secondary and rotational systems. There are bid Alternates associated with this project.
