The University of Maine System (UMS) and University of Maine institutions, that chose to participate, are seeking proposals for online teaching assistant services that meet the requirements of UMS departments, programs and/or courses that UMS identifies. Online teaching assistants will work with a UMS faculty member to make online classes a success in accordance with UMS's requirements. This may include, but is not limited to, grading of assignments, participating in monitoring online discussions, posting announcements, and working under faculty to resolve issues related to course delivery.
