Separate sealed BIDS for the Bangor High School Main Entrance Renovation project located at 885 Broadway, Bangor, Maine, for the Bangor School Department will be received at the office of Carpenter Associates, 687 Stillwater Avenue, Old Town, Maine until 2:00 P.M. local time June 15, 2018, and then at the said office publicly opened and read aloud.
The BIDDING DOCUMENTS may be purchased and/or examined at the office of the Engineer, Carpenter Associates, 687 Stillwater Avenue, Old Town, Maine 04468 (207-827-8001) for a non-refundable fee of $25.00. Only those companies who have obtained Bidding Documents and are listed on the project's "Plan Holders List" are eligible to submit a bid proposal on this project.

A bid security will be required consisting of a 5 percent (5%) Bid Bond or a Certified Check in lieu of the Bid Bond is required. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each for 100% of the value of the work are required.
Scope of Work Summary: The work involves renovating the Administration Wing Front Entrance reception area at Bangor High School to provide a more secure entrance. Work will include new windows, doors and glazing; along with new partition walls and finishes to be completed. Work will also include new split unit heat pump and minor electrical work.
A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for June 8, 2018, Friday at 8:00 A.M. This will be the only time contractors will be able to visit the site to review existing conditions prior to submitting a bid. Meet at the Front Entrance to begin.
