is intending to file a Traffic Movement Permit application with the Maine Department of Transportation pursuant to the provisions of 23 M.R.S.A. §704 - A on or about March 28, 2018. This application is for the [font=font36821]development of a proposed Tradewinds Convenience Store in Hampden, Maine. The proposed development is to include a 6,900 sf convenience store with six fueling positions. The project is forecast to generate 207 and 276 AM and PM weekday peak hour of the generator trip ends respectively. The project is expected to open in 2018. The site is located at the eastern corner of the intersection of Coldbrook Road with Route 202 in Hampden, Maine.[/font]
A request for a public hearing must be received by the Town, in writing no later than 20 days after the application is found by the department to be complete and is accepted for processing. Public comment on the application will be accepted throughout the processing of the application. [font=font36821]The application will be filed for public inspection at the Department of Transportation's office in Bangor (Region 4) during normal working hours. A copy of the application may also be seen at the municipal offices in Hampden, Maine.
