Notice of Public Hearing on Proposed Issuance of Tax-Exempt Bonds
BOND SIZE: The Maine State Housing Authority ("MaineHousing") intends to issue up to $400,000,000 of tax-exempt bonds (the "Bonds"), in one or more series or in conjunction with other series, including a common plan of finance as contemplated by Section 147(f) (2)(c) of the Internal Revenue Code, the proceeds of which may be used to: (1) redeem and refund certain tax-exempt facility bonds of MaineHousing, the proceeds of which were used to finance qualified residential rental projects described below; (2) finance qualified residential rental projects described below; and (3) finance the costs of issuance, reserve funds and other valid purposes of MaineHousing.

DATE AND LOCATION OF HEARING: December 13, 2017 at 9:00 A.M., Maine State Housing Authority, 353 Water Street, Augusta, Maine. The hearing room is accessible to persons with physical disabilities and, upon sufficient notice, appropriate communication auxiliary aids will be provided for persons with disabilities.
