NOTICE TO BIDDERS - INVITATION TO BID PUMPING STATIONS UPGRADES

The Winter Harbor Utilities District will receive separate sealed Bids for the Pumping Stations Upgrades project in the Town of Winter Harbor, Maine. The work consists of upgrades to three existing sanitary wastewater pumping station including selective demolition new pumps, new electrical buildings, electrical work, controls work, paving, site work and all materials, equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work. Sealed Bids will be received by the Winter Harbor Utilities District, Maine at the the Winter Harbor Wastewater Treatment Plant, 39 Meadow Lane, Winter Harbor, ME Attention: Terry Keller, Plan Operator until 11:00AM local time on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Contract Documents may be examined, and copies may be obtain at the "Issuing Office," Woodard & Curran, 41 Hutchins Drive, Portland, Maine 04102 starting on Tuesday October 24, 2017. Paper copies of the Contract Documents are available at the Issueing Office location for a non-refundable fee of $175.00. An additional non-refundable fee of $25.00 must be included if shipping is desired. Shipping shall be by Federal Express. An electronic copy of the Contract Documents is also available from the Issuing Office for no charge. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Winter Harbor Wastewater Treatment Plant, 39 Meadow Lane, Winter Harbor, ME at 11:00 AM. The project is funded by the USDA Rural Development Water and Environmental Program (RD) and will be executed per the RD "Equal Opportunity Clause" and the State's Non-Discrimination requirements. This project is expected to be funded in whole or in part by the State of Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund (CWSRF) program.
