The Holden Town Council will hold two Public Hearings in the Council Chambers at the Holden Municipal Building at 570 Main Road on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing public comments on the following matters:
1. To receive comments from the public regarding proposed changes to the MMA Model GA Ordinance, Appendices (A-D) for the period of October 1, 2017 - September 30, 2018.These appendices are filed with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in compliance with Title 22 M.R.S.A. §4305(4). Copies of the Ordinance are available at the Town Office for viewing.
2. To receive comments from the public regarding the issuance of a renewal license to operate a recycling facility pursuant to the provisions of Title 30A M.R.S.A. Section 3751 Et Seq., for the business owner: Joel E. Butler, 42 Leeds Way, Lot 36-2 of Tax Map 18 and Lot 1 of Tax Map 17.Copies are available at the Town Office.
All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearings and will be given an opportunity to be heard at that time.
