NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS REQUEST FOR BIDS

The Appleton School Department is conducting a competitive bid process for the Appleton Village School - Renovation Project - Bid Package No 1, Appleton, Maine. Bids will be opened and read aloud at 2:00 PM on May 11, 2016 at the office of the Superintendent of Schools, Union 69, 431 Camden Road, Suite 2, Hope, Maine. The project includes upgrades to the 23,190 SF, single story school.  Heating and ventilation upgrades including removals of old systems, new energy recovery units, roof curbs, exhaust fan, ductwork, heating coils, diffusers; replacement of a pneumatic control system with a new DDC system including hydronic control valves, pumps, fintube, and piping revisions; refurbishing of old ventilation equipment, incidental plumbing; electrical work including HVAC power, fire alarm system; and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
