INVITATION FOR BIDS Passamaquoddy Tribe Owner P.O. Box 343 Address Perry, ME 04667 DESCRIPTION: Construction of a new wastewater lift station (Pump Station No. 4), demolition of one wastewater lift station, telemetry, force main, and approximately 940 feet of gravity sewer. Separate sealed Bids for the construction of Pump Station No. 4, will be received by the Tribe until 10:00 a.m. prevailing time, April 21, 2017 and then publicly opened and read aloud at the Transition House located at 136 County Road, Perry, ME 04667. Bids may be mailed to P.O. Box 343, Perry, Maine 04667 or hand delivered prior to the bid opening at the Waste Water Treatment Facility located at 7 Treatment Plant Road, Pleasant Point, Maine 04667. If bids are hand delivered the day of the bid opening, they should be delivered to the Transition House located at 136 County Road, Perry, ME 04667. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on April 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., at the Transition House located at 136 County Road, Perry, ME 04667. Printed copies will be available upon payment of $175.00 for each set and $25.00 for postage and handling. All fees are non-refundable. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid security in the amount of 5% of the total Bid price, which shall be in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or bank money order. Cash is not acceptable. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. Liquidated damages will be withheld for failure to complete the work within the specified time. March 28, 2017
