The Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management is conducting a competitive bid process for the Belfast Armory ORG Parking Area Repair and Modernization Project at the Belfast Armory located at 42 Route 1 Bypass, in Belfast, Maine. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Directorate of Facilities Engineering (DFE) Building 8, 194 Winthrop Street, Augusta, Maine at 2:00 p.m. on April 20th, 2017.
Project consists of the following: 1) Demolition of existing small building structures and foundations; existing light poles, fixtures, underground conduit and wiring; concrete pads and apron; existing surface materials as required. 2) Installation of new gravel parking surface, two (2) catch basins; 12 ft wide grassed buffer area; new underdrain system; two (2) concrete pads and two (2) concrete aprons; new underground electrical conduit with post and two bollards for fueling pad. Approximate area of ORG parking area is 57,132 square feet. All work to be done in accordance with plans and specifications created by Cordjia Capital Projects Group, LLC, dated 1 December 2016. A mandatory prebid conference for all general contractors shall be conducted at the Belfast Armory at 9 AM, April 5, 2017.
