Please be advised that the Planning Board of the City of Bangor will hold a meeting on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Third Floor Council Chambers of Bangor City Hall and will consider the following public hearing:
To Amend Chapter 165, Land Development Code of the City of Bangor by Amending provisions regarding Day Care Facilities allowing small day care facilities in residential districts. Day Care will no longer be a Home Occupation (165-22), but a separate use in residential districts (to reconcile portions Bangor's Code with State Guidelines for day care).
The change would bring City limitations on the number of employees into alignment with state requirements for day care staffing.
