The Town of Rumford, in cooperation with Main-Land Development Consultants, Inc. (Main-Land) formally requests for bids for the project entitled "Rumford Downtown Infrastructure Improvements - 2017/2018". The project site is very generally the area known as the "Island". The project work will generally include: removal and replacement of sidewalks including: ADA compliant components; granite curbs; street lighting and associated electrical; street trees, grates, and guards; and signs and other site features, box cut full depth reconstruction of streets and specified drives with underdrained curb gutters, and replacement of storm drain, sanitary sewer, and water mains and services. The Project Manual/Bid Package will be available for purchase on Wednesday, February 22nd at 10:00 am. To obtain one set of plans and specifications, enclose a check for $600 to Main-Land at P.O. Box Q, Livermore Falls, Maine 04254. Alternatively, contractors may make a payment at [u]www.main-landdci.com[/u] via ACH system. Please include "Rumford Bid" into the memo/description, and call the office at (207) 897-6752 to indicate desired quantity and arrange pick-up at Main-Land. Full sets and individual sheets of drawings and pages of specifications may be ordered by sub-contractors and material suppliers upon written request to the Engineer and will be billed at the cost of reproduction, payable before issue, plus $30.00 handling charge per copy, upon which no refund will be made.
